Nordlys (Interactive Spaces Lab)

Cooperating with Interactive Spaces Lab, we have developed the interactive installation Nordlys – just next to Egholm school in Vallensbæk. The installation consists of 23 poles, with addressable LEDs to two sides of the pole. Some of the poles are equiped with a smal radar sensor, able to detect movement in the pole’s closer environment. The installation is split up into three sections, one where you get more feedback as faster and more you move. One where slow movenet are creating a colorchange and the rest of the poles are passive. While providing different experiences, the three zones are also created in order to provide more savety as the installation is just next to a traficated street.
